National Philanthropy Day – PQ Volunteer of the Year!

The Pinnacles Quilters of San Benito County was delighted to introduce Irene Towler as our “Volunteer of the Year” at the annual National Philanthropy Dinner held on November 15 at the San Juan Oaks Golf Course in Hollister, CA.  Irene is a founding member of our guild.  Irene has held many positions on the guild board including past President and most recently, Quilts of Honor.  She has developed, organized and promoted Quilts of Honor program the past several years which gives patriotic quilts to local veterans.  Irene has been Chairman of the Clothing and Textiles Department at the San Benito County Fair for the past 2 years and Co-chair of that Department the 2 years before that.

We, the Pinnacle Quilters of San Benito County, want to thank Irene for her service, contributions, and her unbounded enthusiasm for all the work she has done for our guild and our community!   Irene is truly a person who makes Hollister a great place to live!
